The Conference seeks to draw global attention toAfrican Arts and culture and the significant impact it has on the developmentof the African continent. The conference aims to bring together scholars froma broad range of disciplines spanning, Developments Studies , AfricanCulture, Social Sciences and Humanities as well as representatives of AfricanTraditional Institutions, Non-Governmental organizations and GovernmentAgencies to discuss a variety of topics aimed at achieving the MillenniumDevelopment Goals while strengthening the outcomes of ICACD 2008.
